Comparison
Yuma is autonomy-first ecommerce support. Archet is for Shopify teams that want selected order execution with explicit approval and audit controls, plus a merchant-side Operations agent.
Free plan on the web, or a 14-day trial when you install Archet through Shopify.
Governed selected actions
Archet currently supports order cancellation without automatically refunding, shipping-address changes, fulfillment and governed merchant-initiated refunds. Returns and inventory writes are not shipped. On Pro and above, approval and audit controls are included. Actions draft for one-click approval by default; cancellation, fulfillment and capped refunds with no fraud signal can be explicitly auto-approved.
Autonomy is not the only choice
Yuma emphasizes end-to-end autonomous resolution. Archet makes the merchant’s control posture visible: keep the approval step, or opt into narrow auto-approval only where your team is ready. Every request and execution outcome remains recorded.
| Feature | Archet | Yuma |
|---|---|---|
| Order actions | On Pro and above, Archet drafts supported order actions and merchant-initiated refunds for one-click approval. Merchants may opt into auto-approval for cancellation, fulfillment and capped refunds with no fraud signal. | Execution control | Draft-first by default, with explicit one-click approval and narrowly opt-in auto-approval for cancellation, fulfillment and capped refunds with no fraud signal. | Autonomy-first execution with policy boundaries, exception routing and hard limits described in Yuma’s Support AI material. |
| Auditability | Approval and audit controls are included on Pro and above, with the request, decision and execution outcome recorded. | Yuma documents analytics, automation-health monitoring and customer-service workflows; evaluate its event-level approval record against your own control requirements. |
| Merchant operations | Connect Slack to ask a dedicated Operations agent about orders, revenue, inventory and fulfillment. | Focused on ecommerce customer-support resolution inside connected helpdesks and commerce tools. |
| Shopify context | Uses Shopify Storefront, Customer Account and Admin connections for shopper context and selected governed operations. | Reads live order, customer, product, fulfillment, return and refund context through its Shopify connection. |
| Stack model | Shopper Support and merchant Operations agents are provisioned together, with web, Slack and WhatsApp deployment options. | Designed to add autonomous support to an existing helpdesk and ecommerce stack, including Gorgias and Zendesk. |
| Pricing model | Published base plans use model-weighted units; usage-dependent cost overage can apply above the plan ceiling. | Yuma advertises performance-based billing but does not publish a rate. Use the per-resolution rate from your own quote for a cost scenario. |

This is a pricing-structure scenario, not a quote or savings promise. It assumes each handled case is one Yuma-billed resolution and one Archet conversation. Actual definitions, automation rates, implementation fees, included usage and overage terms may differ. The Yuma rate is entered by you and is not stored.
Setup normally provisions shopper Support and merchant Operations agents. Connect Slack separately to bind the Operations agent for your team.
